NorStar Genetics Seeds crossed Pre '98 Bubba Kush with Purple Mayhem to create Grand Poobah, a hybrid with a notably fast eight-week flowering time and THC ranging from 19.2 to 23 percent. The Bubba Kush lineage alone tells growers something about the kind of dense, heavy-limbed structure this plant is likely to carry into flower, while Purple Mayhem contributes its own distinct genetic thread to the cross. For anyone drawn to Bubba Kush crosses that finish quickly, an eight-week turnaround is on the faster end of what that family typically offers, making Grand Poobah worth tracking down for growers who prioritize a short flowering window paired with solid potency.
