A rolling paper has one function: to combust cleanly and get out of the way. Skins is produced on the same ultra-thin stock as the most respected papers on the market, gummed to our own profile and held to a specification we verify batch by batch.

  • Rice fiber

    Long rice fibers, refined and calendered to 14 gsm. High translucency, low ash and no flavour of its own.

  • Natural gum

    Plant-derived gum laid in a single narrow strip at a controlled coat weight. Seals on minimal moisture and burns to a fine caramel line.

The story

Skins is the first brand to carry our own name. It is held to a higher standard because of it.

It started with a frustration we could measure. The papers we rated highest were always someone else’s, and the cases with the best branding rarely held the best paper.

So we went to source. Skins is manufactured in Spain, in the region that produces the finest ultra-thin papers in the world, on the same stock as the most respected names in the category. Every batch is then verified in our UK lab before it carries the mark.

The fingerprint

No two rolls are identical. The mark on every case is the standard we hold to and the signature that says the batch passed.

The standard

Burn, ash, gum, translucency, flavor, roll. Six checks on every batch. If it would not pass in our hands, it does not leave the lab.
